Music for life: a case of good practice

This research is based on the hypothesis that music education, active participation, can improve quality of life older people and positively influence prevention dementias, such as Alzheimer's. Choir singing has always brought benefits, but choral singing, including movement body expression, well instrumental practice, increase a healthy physical mental life. Music for project takes place in an association pensioners retirees small town, Spain. Participants go once week to sing, actively learn music, what they really do work laterality cerebral hemispheres, boost memory, self-esteem, connect with similar characteristics situations. One most important parts public auditions homes elderly or similar, part musical learning, self-esteem social responsibility.
